Koszyki Market Hall
Reconstruction and conversion of an old market hall in Warsaw with athe addition of new office buildings.
The project involved the partial reconstruction and conversion of a listed old market hall in Warsaw that dates back to the beginnings of the 20th century. The design, in the reconstructed parts, restored the original character of the hall with all its connotations for the local community. New office buildings, designed as part of the project, complete the street frontage and regulate the layout of the inner courtyards of the surrounding tenements. A court adjacent to the street hosts food and leisure services. The reconstructed historic structure will have exposed interiors. The diversity of services will evoke the lively, spontaneous atmosphere of the times of grand halls—marketplaces.
