To transform a former West London brewery into the headquarters for a record company. The client wanted a dynamic workspace that is flexible and informal – in keeping with the spirit of the company and its musical heritage – with a variety of break out areas and meeting spaces for its energetic team, ultimately creating a lively working environment.
AMA devised a horizontal slot through the main wall to integrate the various spaces and to create a central focus surrounding the main sound-proofed meeting area. This intervention acts a catalyst for creativity. The interior design consists of simple desk and storage areas created with bespoke joinery and a curated collection of stylish furniture from Tom Dixon, Maarten Van Severen to Vitra and B&B Italia. The look and feel was kept in tandem with the record label branding and the project delivered to a tight timescale.
