Vinyl club
Vinyl club is a record and turntables store, located in the historic center of Lviv, Ukraine, designed by A44 studio in 2017.
Brief for the studio was to create a space to showcase a large diversity of vinyl records, and to provide as well comfortable listening to them in a small room of 22 square meters.
The cylindrical volume of the oak rack is a composition center with an good storage capacity, up to 2000 records. Bright background perimeter stands for better display of the product. Texture of the historical brickwork was opened and painted white, combined with the new concrete floor and glossy surfaces of new furniture it allowed to present each audio record as a unique object. Tiny side room, painted in bold "salmon red" color, is a listening zone, where customers can enjoy selected records in privacy. Spiral staircase leads to storage and staff rooms.
