A house overlooking the Ionian Sea, perched on top of the lava rooftop of the Timpa di Acireale reserve. A parallelepiped with long sides facing the sea in three rooms with two transverse walls and projected onto a terrace that duplicates the inner surface.
The project transforms space by acting on the elements that make up it: floor plans and ceilings, the wall diaphragm separating the interior from the terrace.
The wooden floor texture establishes the continuity of the interior with the outside, the alternating two-sided false ceilings identify the three interior spaces connected by the gates at the ends of the existing walls.
The front to the sea is embedded in a wooden volume with a system of doors, darkening and containers framing the horizon by offering various glimpses and variations of light.
The space of the house is unique and within it, the two volumes of the services and the kitchen block are inserted, without altering the continuity.
