Within the heart of the valencian ensanche district, a comprehensive remodeling of this housing was performed.
The challenge of the project was to keep the charm of this typology of “corridor housing”, typical in this area of the city.
A house made of long corridors, narrow areas, inner patios and high ceilings was transformed into a housing where the purity of lines and tones is prevailing.
The corridor, the main distribution axis connecting the inner spaces, will be of special interest to become the basic piece of the global composition of the housing. At that point starts the unforgetable experience of creating your own space to live in, and of experiencing with it.
The result is conceptual minimalism and richness of spaces in
continous change; spaces changing from day to night, spaces open/closed, spaces with a volume and flat. In summary, flexible and luminous spaces adapting to the changing needs of a family. It is a housing with multiple readings, with spaces becoming independent or becoming public to be accompanied or to stay alone enjoying calm.
