If you have a book that you would like to be presented on DIVISARE, just send us a single copy by mail with a completed copy of our Application Form.
Notification of acceptance will be made by email. If your book is not accepted, we will donate it to the Library of the Faculty of Architecture of the University La Sapienza. If you prefer your book to be returned to you, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. DIVISARE is unable to hold books for pick-up.

Download Application Form- WHAT TYPE OF PUBLICATIONS CAN I SUBMIT?
- Our aim is to present and promote publications portraying the work of architects and achitectural photographers. But we are not interested in any book of this kind. We look exclusively for high quality publishing projects that have been conceived as typographic artworks in their own right, designed and made with passion and care for the slightest detail. DIVISARE will only consider for presentation books that have already been published. At the time of submission a minimum of 100 copies of the title must have already been produced.
- WHAT TYPES OF PUBLICATIONS ARE NOT CONSIDERED?
- Mass produced editions, pulp publications, architectural magazines, archizines, conventional commercial monographies and cheaply produced portfolios typically fall out of our scope.
- DO I NEED TO SUBMIT A PHYSICAL COPY OF MY BOOK?
- We curate a photographic survey of each book presented. For this reason we are unfortunately not able to consider books in progress, galleys, mock-ups or PDFs.
- HOW ARE BOOKS SELECTED?
- Books presented and promoted by DIVISARE are selected by a committee made up of staff. Books that are in line with our mission and vision are considered with regards to the overall realization of the book project. Beside the quality of the books in their own we try to balance our selection taking into account the diversity of publications in the field.
- HOW LONG SHOULD I EXPECT TO WAIT BEFORE HEARING?
- It typically takes around a month to hear from us.
- WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BOOK IS ACCEPTED?
- If your book is accepted we will curate a photographic survey and present it on our website. After that, in case we have not received a self-addressed, Italy Post stamped envelope the book will be donated to a local educational institution, currently the Library of the Architecture Faculty of the University 'La Sapienza' in Rome. Unfortunately, DIVISARE is unable to hold books for later pick-up. If you prefer your book to be returned to you, please include a self-addressed envelope with a official Italy Postal Service stamp valid for shipping to your own address.
- WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BOOK IS NOT ACCEPTED?
- We regret that we cannot carry every title submitted to us. In the event your book is not accepted please understand this is not necessarily due to the merit of the publication, as we frequently receive interesting books that fall outside of our scope. If your book is not accepted it will be donated to a local educational institution, currently the Library of the Architecture Faculty of the University 'La Sapienza' in Rome. If you prefer your book to be returned to you, please include a self-addressed envelope with a official Italy Postal Service stamp valid for shipping to your own address.
