Kris Provoost is a Belgian photographer based in Hong Kong. He has been active in Asia for a decade capturing buildings and cities.
After graduating with a Master in Architecture, he relocated to Beijing where he started his architecture career contributing to buildings spread around Asia. He workedforhighlyrespecteddesign rmsincludingZahaHadid Architects,Buro Ole Scheeren and gmp Architekten.
As a photographer he has worked with some of the most well-known established architects, developers, engineers and magazines. Photographing different typologies, he cares about the context and how buildings stand out or fit in the unique characteristics of each place.
The Book ‘Beauti ed China, The Architectural Revolution, has been published end of 2019 and portrays the most iconic buildings built across China in the last 15 years.
