KEMA studio is collaboration of two architects with a taste for rehabilitation. Our principle is to revive the history of the space and unite it with contemporary techniques and elements in a very subtle manner, We have a great consideration for “the existing”. We think there is always a story to be discovered and told through a thorough intervention. Using local, ecological materials with great care for every detail brings perfect harmony into our work. We believe that not only the creation of space itself determines fine architecture but also details and a careful choice of materials that, to our mind, should be innovative, national and ecological. We approach every single project in an individual way, which is based on a dialog with the client throughout the process, from the very beginning (conceptual sketch) until the completion of work, always keeping in mind the control of the construction site budget.
