PHILIPPE GAZEAU,
founded his architecture agency in 1984 in Paris, after graduating as registered architect (DPLG) at the Paris la Villette school of architecture.
In 2004, he created the urbanism agency FGP(u) - French Global Project of urbanism - of which he is the associate manager.
He teaches at the Paris Val-de-Seine Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture.
Co-founder in 2007 of the French Touch association.
Since 2012 he is member of the International Workshop of Greater Paris.
PRIX
Winner of the PAN 13 prize in 1984.
Winner of the Albums de la Jeune Architecture in 1985.
Prix de la Première Œuvre du Moniteur (Moniteur prize for first work) in 1985, for the extension of the Gerbert school in Paris.
Mention in the Équerre d’argent (Silver T-square) prize in 1994, for the dwellings in rue de l’Ourcq, Paris.
Special mention in the Mies van der Rohe prize in 1994, for the dwellings in rue de l’Ourcq, Paris.
Équerre d’argent (Silver T-square) prize in 2000 for the Biancotto Sport Centre in Paris.
Environment prize in the PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) region architecture Grand Prix in 2003, for the Mouans-Sartoux cultural centre.
