Pawel Paniczko
My works mostly feature contemporary architecture, but I also admire historical buildings. I often travel independently through the world, in a quest to find interesting constructions. I always try to show the subject in a wider context to reveal the relationship with surroundings, and to illustrate how people interact with the place. I aim to capture visitors’ emotions while they explore the building as well as to show my own feelings about the scene. Thanks to my fine arts background I have possessed empathy and particular appreciation of light, colour and composition. The interplay between light and designed structure plays an immense role in my perception of space. As a result, I present an atmosphere of the place in my photographs and stimulates viewers’ memories, feelings and imagination. Owing to my architectural education and experience, I have a deep knowledge of the built environment, which helps me to understand a design and clients’ needs. With true attention to detail and high personal standards, I cherish the high-quality work and create unique, compelling presentations of physical structures. These are photographs that add value to every space and showcase buildings in their best light.
