My architectural research thrives at the intersection of sensory aesthetics and functional recovery. With a background dedicated to the enhancement of existing environments, I view renovation as a challenge to infuse aged structures with new energy, grounding my practice in a direct connection with matter.
Driven by the conviction that architecture should be felt before it is drawn, I favour a sensory approach in which the selection of materials emerges from tactile and emotional exploration. I believe that a project develops through processes of subtraction and redefinition, in which the structure is embraced as the primary generating principle of space.
Specialising in building restoration, I approach renovation as an act of vital regeneration, mediating between the historical memory of a site and a fresh, conscious aesthetic language. In my work, natural light serves as the primary structural tool to re-signify period spaces, transforming the old into contemporary, human-scale living scenarios. These elements are key to creating atmospheres capable of forging a profound emotional bond with those who inhabit them.
