Entre montes house
On the basis of a house between party walls dating from the 1960s with various later additions with incoherent distribution and levels, the project proposes a rearrangement of the interior spaces and a new relationship with the exterior spaces, both public and private.
The uses are organised by levels to optimise the interior routes of the inhabitants, especially vertically. Thus, the ground floor is for leisure and parking, the first floor accommodates the day area and the second floor the night area, leaving the penthouse as a reserve space. The courtyard centralises the leisure area of the house, with the construction of a semi-raised swimming pool around which indoor and outdoor living spaces are arranged. The first floor - with pedestrian access - is organised around a central block that contains storage spaces and separates the distribution area from the large living-kitchen-dining room, whose spatial continuity is reinforced by the wall furniture. At the back is the study area, open to the courtyard and isolated from the rest of the house. The sleeping area has two en-suite bedrooms, the master bedroom with dressing room and bathroom with SPA area.
The façade is configured by a veil of white perforated sheet metal framed by a perimeter band of blind sheet metal, renewing the image of the building with an element of strong personality that distinguishes it in the surrounding built fabric. The perforated sheet metal filters the views while allowing natural light to enter, while the perimeter frame contains the urban installations on the façade. The house opens onto the inner courtyard, where the dividing walls are extended in height by means of cane walls to guarantee privacy.
