How to convey the durability of the judicial institution whilst at the same time underlining the changes that anchor it in its age? How do you ensure that this new edifice participates in the history of the place where it is located, that it finds its rightful place? Courtrooms, set up like monoliths on the sloping ground, push tertiary spaces to the sky, creating a new horizon.
The mineral quality and the telluric power of this fragmented base contrast with the evanescence of the glass façades, vibrant with reflections. This inviolable and implacable enclosure, rigorous and hierarchical, articulates public spaces, meaningfully closed, around a luminous interior which opens out onto the landscape. Like a symbol.
