Postamt 60, Mexico Ring, City Nord, Hamburg

The Postamt 60 (postoffice branch 60) was erected in 1974 after plans of the architects Friedrich and Ingeborg Spengelin. It was set in the new urban space City Nord Hamburg. The area of the City Nord was to be an office area in the green where in the 1970s different international companies put up their headquarters, such as Exon Mobile, Shell, and the German Mail. Postamt 60 had gross floor area of 11.000 square meters. The Postamt 60 was torn down in 1921.
