TM Kart New Factory
The project for TM Kart in Pesaro is primarily inspired by speed.
All efforts, commitment, intuitions, determination and passion have moved in that
direction. An engaging and inspiring propulsive direction that immediately knew
how to direct all the choices necessary to achieve the final objectives.
The need to configure a space capable of organizing a complex series of highly
technological activities made it necessary to study a very rigorous internal layout.
Each activity is perfectly connected and correlated to the following one in a
harmonic sequence essential to production processes with precision down to the
thousandth of a millimetre.
All efforts concentrated on achieving the final goal: the creation of the engine for
the best performing karts in the world, used by champions such as Schumacher.
Departments, workshops, laboratories, test rooms, rooms, technical offices,
research and development center and warehouses line up neatly inside the new
plant which is partly spread over two floors/levels.
Externally, on the street side, it centrally faces a vertical glazed surface which
illuminates the elevator stairwell and the reception which opens directly onto an
exhibition hall from which it is possible to access the operational areas.
Between the fence and the façade there is a small garden and an area for loading
and unloading goods.
From the main gate it is possible to access the lot and walk along it along the entire
perimeter for pedestrians and vehicles. The outdoor spaces allow punctual
connection with accesses, bays and technological compartments to carry out the
necessary maintenance, procurement and disposal activities.
The terminal part borders directly, through a small natural slope, with a pedestrian
and cycle path that skirts a park area very popular with people, which begins the
"abstract monolith" in a very suggestive natural environment.
