In November 2016, the municipality of Neuried decided that the old school building should be demolished and replaced with a new building on the same site. The basis for this decision was the realization that structural upgrading of the old school building would no longer have made economic sense and that a new replacement building is therefore the preferred solution. The new replacement building is planned with the requirements for an all-day school for a class train and also implemented structurally. On the 1st and 2nd floor there are four classrooms with approx. 67 m², each of which is divided by a shared rest or group room of approx. 35 m² in between.
