The complex consists of five buildings of various heights (between 2 and 8 floors) connecting to each other through a series of walkways and communal spaces, recalling the complex shape of the industrial spaces of Poblenou.
The inner patio is essential to the project as it establishes a relationship with the households and, on a larger scale, with the surrounding open spaces, thus creates two different landscapes. One of these patios has a more urban feeling and is delimited on the ground floor by the civic centre overlooked by the accommodations for young people, while the other patio, accessible from the road and the surrounding public space, is an urban vegetable garden for the elderly.
The complex closes off from the road with a façade featuring small openings and opens towards the inner court thanks to a more complex glass façade, with different layers that guarantee both the architectural unity of the housing complex and the differentiation of the different households, buildings and orientations.
