A farm house is being extended with two new spaces. The volume adopts the gabarit of the existing house, is cut to length and mirrored diagonally around the existing tree. A new entrance is created in the open corner. The wooden roof shields stretch from gable to gable, leaving the spaces free and opening up to the surrounding fields. A light skin of perforated corrugated iron is draped over the volume, giving depth to the views and abstracting the shape.
