The coal track's former track systems form the framework for the new sports park. The parts of the existing succession vegetation that are worth preserving have been integrated and contribute to the special atmosphere. The former tracks were filled and converted into paths. Through the careful integration of the uses, the landscape aesthetic and ecological quality of the coal storage can be experienced. In the exposed areas of the central gravel area, play and sports areas set particular priorities. Linear elements such as wooden platforms, seating elements and a track that can be played on the boules or used as a running track accompany the paths and emphasize the linear theme of the former use of the track. The eastern end of the sports park is a large youth play area with streetball fields, Skate elements and a large skate pool. To the north of this are a multifunctional field and a large sandy area for trend sports such as beach volleyball and handball. A dirt track and a Finnbahn as a round course round off the sport offer.
