Interior design for a new-built terrace unit in the Venice countryside area, north-east of Italy.
This interior design project is for a 140sqm unit within a new terraced house development in the countryside in the Venice area. The ground floor features an entrance, the living area, the dining and kitchen facing the rear garden through a wide opening opposite to the entrance.
The first part of the cantilevered stairs is a monolithic timber volume that hosts a bespoke cupboard of the same material. The choice of natural materials led to the use of wood and stone for the majority of the surfaces. The use of natural light is predominant but balanced with some elements of light fittings of Italian design that give an overall feeling of soft atmosphere.
