Attending our clients needs, the existence of a previously constructive context and the office’s current taste for exploring the style we describe as “Mexiterraneo”, became the constants that guided the design and construcción of A690 house. This building was finally done with basic materials such as wood, concrete, and stone; double height spaces, with a lot of natural light, pleasant ventilation, In addition to the use of elements such as arches in openings, windows and doors, combined with pieces of classic ironwork and a sober design, which allows the users to define the color and atmosphere of the residence.
The architectonic program required social áreas such as: family room, living room, terrace, garden, kitchen, dinning; and private áreas such as: master bedroom, master bath, secondary bedrooms, baths and office studio. However the pursuit of generating interesting paths when moving from one zone to another, gave value to the volumes formed with the proposed design. Therefore the rooftops became usable terraces and architectonic elements as the stairs, turned into an sculpture.
