When you have a little time, a limited budget and act as your own contractor, you have to always be keeping track. This project for the graphic design studio WAX Studios in Greenpoint, Brooklyn is an architecture resembling a table of contents. Each part is numbered and coded throughout the space. The simple rectangular interior is broken up with a meeting room in the center with glass facing the windows and a kitchen facing the pin up wall which spans from the entry to the main ofice. Graphic design can provide clarity to the part-to-whole problem of small interior ensembles. This graphic design studio, who produces numbered issues of their iconic magazine (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8...), looks towards their own tools to organize their architecture.
