Hotel Guacimara Paradiso
Totemic touristic device rooted in neo canarian-aboriginal style { also known as guanche-tech ) . The platonic form of the triangle connects the mundane activities of leisure with the sacred representations of guanche's paradisio.
Identity in touristic territories is a strange mixture of simplification and kitsch. The Canary Islands, a spanish colony in the African coast has been always considered both a link between Europe, America and Africa but also a cheap destination for all-inclusive holidaymakers who barely gets to know the island out of their hotel resorts.
Vastly ignored by visitors and mostly overseen by locals, the aboriginal past of the archipelago remains a mistery: where did they came from? and when? What is the meaning of the alphabet? Jinama Atelier has decided to take pride on this aboriginal past and explore the iconography and aesthethics of the misterious guanche people.
Hotel Guayarmina Paradiso is a generic space for pleasure, drinking and making love but also a message to those forgotten gods (Erahoran, Achaman,Moneiba) with the common language of geometry : the canarii fractal triangle sends a message to the stars and time while people indulge in papas con mojo or ron miel.
The program of the tower will comprise all the leisure activities of the island from the famous Carnival parades where local beauties show their colourful costumes to the traditional romerias.
On the top floors there will be the perfect opportunity to explore the night sky due to the exceptionally clear skies of the islands.
Hotel Guayarmina Paradiso has everything that the islands can offer.Come to the Hotel Guaryamina and let yourself enjoy the true canarian experience.
