Mistura is a restaurant that combines cuisines of the world in the same menu.
As if it were a corner of the world, the restaurant tries to open up and show itself to the street. A street full of restaurants and bars that brims with life every sunset. Mistura is a risky bet, it tries to become a corner where the mix of different culinary experiences takes place. Taking each dish to a different corner of the world.
The place has only about 40 square meters and is located at the corner of the Estrella Street. A street where the terrace becomes the most important of the premises. Being a space so small, the enclosure itself is transformed and converted into an element that protects the terrace, diluting interior and exterior.
The closing is solved with a system of counterweights that allows its movement. The system has a horizontal pivoting axis at the height of the lintel that allows opening through a system of pulleys and counterweights managed by a motorized hoist. The proposed solution unifies: closure, roof and installations in a whole, giving continuity to the premises with the exterior when it is deployed and creating a sober and simple facade once collected.
