RED
Main purpose of the project is the redistribution of the living area of a 90sqm apartment blending together the living room and the dining area in an open space, but maintaining unaltered their inherent traits. The demolition of the wall that separates these two areas allows the light to better permeate the environment and introduces new points of view on the surrounding landscape.
The lounge area is characterised by the presence of a three-seater sofa in crimson red Panama cotton, complemented with coffee tables of industrial design and a patchwork carpet with golden hues, that makes a nice contrast with the dark grey stoneware floor.
Behind the sofa there is a custom-made bookcase and a modular element with the same design is placed between the living room and the dining area, that features a table with Carrara marble top and Calligaris steel chairs.
The TV cabinet is designed starting from a set of Ikea modular elements, on which it is placed a cantilever board made of the same grey wood used for the bookcase dividers. The open compartment with the striped pillow makes the furniture pet-friendly, transforming it in the perfect spot for the house cat.
