The house is located in the periphery of Valladolid, next to the southern round, in an environment of terraced houses without any urban character, equal to so many residential peripheries. A memory of what was born as a garden city linked to nature.
With this starting condition, the house seeks making its volume as a result of the application of urbanistics standards.
The first design element that formally configures the housing is the roof. An asymmetrical gabled roof that, prolongs one of its sides to make its western facade one level. On the other hand, this roof, gives the southern and northern facades its final appearance that characterizes them formally.
Finally, the vertical element that accommodates the air conditioning installations, ventilation and the chimney, as well as the elevator, ends up configuring the built volume.
The housing program seeks accommodation within the project limits described in the most rational way possible.
The space is continuous and fluid under the roof, from the living area, on the ground floor, to the studio on the top floor.
Living room and studio form a unique space, which allows a diagonal reading of the interior space, the same diagonal that formally configures the facade.
