The extension of an existing Victorian residential dwelling in South East London.
Located to the rear of an existing Victorian terrace, this newly constructed, single storey, building, is located within the grounds of the original house and provides a working environment for two designers.
With a tight budget the clear brief of natural light, robust materials, and storage lead to a simple plan arrangement of two flanking walls that integrate storage and bench seating, freeing the centre of the plan for a wide variety of working arrangements.
Constructed between July 2017 and December 2017.
