MACERATA BUS STATION
The Station consists of four elements: the waiting building, the stalls, the parking and maneuvering yards and the sidewalks covered. The building is largely glazed and accessible through a covered porch in the central part. The walled elements that characterize the terminals of the Station welcome to the north the functions of the bar, the sale of newspapers and tobaccos, while to the south, taking advantage of the difference due to the inclination of the street, they welcome to the ground floor the toilets, luggage storage and the workshop.
Upstairs are the management office, the parking space for drivers and the plant control units, directly accessible from the outside. On the main front, the entrance to the bus station is characterized by a continuous facade of glass and aluminum, at full height.
The entrance is "marked" architecturally by the specially covered aluminum cover, which at that point rises by the height framing the area of the entrance pavement which is spatially expanded.
On the immediate right comes the convex body of the ticket office that engages in the continuous glass facade. The surface is lined with polished stone, type trani, of 25x50 size with 5x15 mm ribbon. about marking the horizontal slides.
