RG HOUSE_ATTIC ON THE HILL
L'intervento ha riguardato la ristrutturazione e l'ampliamento di una mansarda sviluppata su tre livelli ubicata in zona collinare. L'obiettivo principale è stato quello di progettare un nuovo accesso al sottotetto, indipendente dal resto della grande casa di famiglia costruita negli anni '90. E' stato realizzato un nuovo volume porticato a doppia altezza, in aderenza alla casa, contenente la scala di ingresso che dal giardino porta al terrazzo coperto. All'interno la grande zona living con la cucina integrata al soggiorno, tre camere da letto con i relativi servizi, composti in sequenza come una sorta di promenade, con un assetto organizzativo e spaziale che ricorda la raumplan. Per aumentare il senso di ampiezza e di luminosità degli ambienti sono state verniciate a smalto coprente le vecchie travi di legno. Sono stati impiegati materiali pregiati come le tavole in legno di Ipè per l'esterno, i grès porcellanati di varie forme e colori per i bagni, e rivitalizzati alcuni elementi già presenti come il parquet in afromosia e la pietra di Asiago.
The project involved the renovation and extension of an attic developed on three levels located in a hilly area. The main objective was to design a new access to the attic, independent from the rest of the large family house built in the '90s. A new volume porch with a double height was created, fitting to the house containing the entry staircase which from the garden leads to the covered terrace.The interiors see a large living area with a kitchen integrated to the living room, three bedrooms with their bathrooms, composed in a sequence as a sort of promenade, with an organizational and spatial arrangement reminiscent of a raumplan. To increase the sense of spaciousness and brightness of the rooms, the old wooden beams were painted in opaque enamel. Quality materials have been used as with the ipe' wood planks for the exterior, the porcelain tiles of various shapes and colours for the bathrooms; some other elements already in place such as the afromosia parquet and the Asiago stone were instead given new shine.
