Patrick Parrish Gallery
Charlap Hyman & Herrero designed Patrick Parrish Gallery's booth in The Salon Art + Design fair at the Park Avenue Armory, collaborating with Parrish on the curation of pieces around a set of mid-century Indian furniture by Mini Boga. The warm palette and soft texture of the booth served as an effective backdrop while creating an intimate refuge within the fair, reminiscent of Carla Venusta's Milanese interiors from the 1970s and Yves Saint Laurent's famed salon on Rue de Babylone. Enveloped entirely in sisal carpet, this "sitting room" had the illusion of depth, such that the four walls seemed to melt away and the works on display came to the fore.
