The new public building constitutes the gateway for a new park landscaped by Gustavson-Porter. The single wedge-shaped mass breaks down in smaller volumes responding to the different edges: a cantilevered glass eye overlooking the new square, a ramp toward the park, a sloping wall embracing the outdoor cafeteria space.
