CR House
The project appears closed in the front committed to turning inward. We planted an “L” scheme.
The main volume is solved with a spatial sequence that leads at first to a portico entrance, separating the social area by a vegetated courtyard and a picture window.

The gap between the volumes, enclosed by a lattice of ironwork and glass, contains the main staircase and introduces natural light to the central range.
Materiality provides structural clarity to the house: a couple of volumes perched on a base and walls of exposed concrete, one of them continues like a tape beyond the living room to confine the courtyard garden center and serve as backup to the terrace.

Volumes are predominantly closed and only drilled to allow both views as input light sifted through gaps.
We always seek for the warmth of the wood to be the protagonist with a major presence in contrast to the rest of the materials.

The terrace is positioned in counterpoint to the living room.
Landscape is a fundamental part of the project, achieving different atmospheres in each of the spaces, and attracting attention to the main linker space: the courtyard garden.
