Headquarter Pontedera
Our project consists of the complete restauration and refurbishment of the existing Palazzo Aurora in Pontedera, creating a spectacular and highly functional headquarter and consulate for our client.
Building on our Client’s intentions of linking local entrepreneurship with foreign businesses, MYGG has focused on incorporating local architectural traditions by cladding the facade of the existing building in Santafiora Dorata stone from the traditional quarries of Viterbo – Lazio.
The excellent technical and decorative characteristics of this particular stone give a warm and dynamic glow; ever-changing with the rising and setting of the sun.
The stone cladding is juxtaposed by opaque brass panels, accentuating the glow of the sunlight.
Entering the Palazzo Aurora, a prestigious back-lit Honey Onyx wall brings the warm tones of the façade into the reception area.
The back-lit Honey Onyx wall, gives a soft, golden glow to the expansive white marble floors and grand circular Carrara marble staircase.
