Il video Neighbors Machine rappresenta il punto di partenza per una riflessione sulla metropoli contemporanea e la forte tendenza alla verticalità della sua architettura. Sullo schermo i palazzi si muovono e s'incastrano come in un gioco; non esiste nessuna regola, solo il caso ne determina i movimenti e le giustapposizioni. Le infinite finestre che si aprono su grandi superfici piatte appaiono come il fitto intreccio di gigantesche strutture alveolari, mentre Il freddo meccano delle linee architettoniche viene talvolta spezzato dall'apparizione di ignare comparse, colte nella loro banale quotidianità.

In the video "Neighbors Machine" the architectural space of the contemporary metropolis is reinvented and reformulated through a visual short-circuit that changes the outlook common observation. On the screen the buildings move and fit together like a game; there is no rule, only the case determines the movements and the combinations. The endless windows opening on large flat surfaces appear as network of gigantic honeycomb structures, while cold mechano architectural lines is sometimes broken by the appearance of unsuspecting extras, caught in their daily lives. The transition from inside to outside of the living space (cell/hive) is the privileged moment, as random, in which people's lives intersect, if only for a moment, and then return in the vortex of frenetic city life.
