Captured-By is a full fit-out of a design shop on Columbia Road in London. The design includes a central display table, shelves, cabinets, a counter and coffee making area.
The project has considered the flow of customers navigating around the shop, incorporating a series of tactile materials such as cork rubber and graphic background colours to curate and display the objects.These materials invite visitors to interact with the surfaces and their displays.
Captured By is a popular addition to Columbia Road’s convivial neighbourhood, its coffee-serving street-hatch providing a harmonising conduit to the live music on the square outside, and the boisterous flower market beyond.
