The project of the School manners is located inside of a liberty villa in the heart of the French concession of Shanghai.
The 400 square meters of school, in elegant French style, are designed to adapt to the different demands of teaching and receiving of the owner, one of the most influential women of China magazine “Forbes”.
Parts of the furniture are movable to allow creating different configurations within the two floors which offer views on the platans of the French concession.
The white color of the boiserie and the gold of the niches and the lamps are the predominant tones of the project which create a good contrast with the black of the chairs, tables and the bar counter in the tea area.
The black geometric designs inside the curtains, the gold profiles around the niches and the alternation of contemporary design furniture with traditional Chinese furniture enrich with details the bright rooms in which the lessons of poise alternate with cocktail parties.
