The owners wanted to live in a smaller house and closer to the town centre. A new home was built on the wide plot of an old post-war house. The concern to keep everything on the ground floor resulted in a U-shaped plan organized around a patio. In this way, the afternoon and evening sun are brought deep into the house.
On the first floor there are two guest rooms for the children and grandchildren and a workspace. Due to the configuration of the volumes there is a constant balance from any position between the lower part (single storey) and the upper part (ground and first floor).
