The Multi-Layered City

The team formed by Jacques Ferrier Architecture, Chartier Dalix Architectes and SLA Landskab have won the first prize for their The Multi-Layered City project on one of the sites of the international competition to “Reinventer Paris”. Their New Urban Landscape offers a unique approach to transform the metropolis in a highly strategic spot: the Boulevard Périphérique (ring road) at its pass through Ternes Gate. The team is proposing to metamorphosis this area into a shared landscape, to create openings and continuities, and to weave into it a network of gardens extending well beyond the site to connect Paris and Neuilly, from the Bois de Boulogne all the way to the Porte de Champerret.
