A vacation house from the late 70's in the coast area plays with an big inclined roof resulting in a generous double height ceiling between the living area in the ground floor and the bedrooms in the 1st floor.
The intervention focused in the positive aspects of the original design and aimed to enhanced them. The interior spaces needed light and clearness; most of functional organization was kept; all openings were kept and the relation between interior and exterior was improved.
All the openings were protect by interior wood shutters with circular openings creating a filter between the inside and the outside. Light is invited to all spaces using white finishing's in most of the surfaces. Outside a continuous concrete floor fulfils all the terrace area.
