Park Trojmezí | Play to joy - joy to care
Experimental process moving imagination of inhabitants to the genuine creativity! Let them create their own footprint on the future of their neighbourhood!
(authors: Pavel Štencl, Marika Dumková, Martin Josek | 2013) | Area of Trojmezi is unique Place near center of Prague, which is still related to traditional agriculture. Inhabitants are using it for dog walks, horse-rides or jogging. Unfortunately developers wants to transform whole area into residential district. Inhabitants are trying to change this area into park, but their imagination is focused just only on bench and pavement. Our goal was to establish creative, utopistic process, where through symbols will show to the locals "how to think big".
We used modeling clay as a great medium to play and genuine creative tool to make an abstract sculpture, which will represent spirit of the place and our ideas.
The essential idea was to move whole model from school to quater and keep people to play with it and transform whole park into their own space, their own proposal through this model. Unfortunately this important step wasn't realised.
