Multifunctional hall
At territorial scale, the building recalls agricultural archetypes, sometimes isolated in broad landscapes, and reinterprets their materiality: steel and wood. The multifunctional hall, compact volume covered with zinc, becomes a new landmark of the town.
At territorial scale, the building recalls agricultural archetypes, sometimes isolated in broad landscapes, and reinterprets their materiality: steel and wood. The multifunctional hall becomes a new landmark, leading the development of the south of the town.
The design of the building is ruled by three major entries:
implantation according to bioclimatic principles and defined by the sun's path;
offering wide views on the Vosges;
organizing equipment to manage noise disturbance.
The compact volume improves thermal performance of the building (BBC). The whole envelope (cover and walls) is made out of zinc. This refined and sober skin allows rapid identification of the equipment located below the county roads. At the south, the main hall opens itself up to the Vosges, extending the interior space to the outside landscape.
À l’échelle du territoire, ce bâtiment évoque les bâtiments d’architecture agricole, parfois isolés dans leurs vastes champs, en réinterprétant leur matérialité : métal et bois. La salle plurifonctionnelle devient le nouveau jalon du développement Sud de la commune de Singrist.
Le bâtiment s’organise selon trois règles majeures :
- une implantation selon des principes bioclimatiques, définis notamment par la course du soleil
- offrir des vues dégagées sur les Vosges
- organiser l’équipement afin de gérer les nuisances sonores. La salle plurifonctionnelle s’inscrit ainsi dans une volumétrie compacte qui favorise de bonnes performances thermiques du bâtiment (bâtiment BBC). La couverture est traitée en zinc tant sur les parties de toiture que de bardage ; cette enveloppe épurée et sobre permet une identification rapide de l’équipement situé en contrebas des routes départementales. Au Sud de l’équipement, la grande salle s’ouvre sur le paysage des Vosges et l’espace intérieur de la salle s’étend face à un pré festif.
