This is a 1500 m2 private penthouse created for a private client in Beijing. Located in the vibrant Sanlitun area, this apartment features an extra-ordinary décor that pays homage to the client’s eccentric personality.This project , Beijing Fantasy, had been going through an artistic design process , suiting the client's personality and lifestyle. This is a residential project of 1500 sqm apartment in Beijing , scarce in the city.The project itself actually combines 12 houses into one , which made the project difficult. Tomas Dariel , the designer of the project,believes that openness in the house is important to the client thus playing with textures,materials,colors,lines and shapes to create spaces ,which tell each a different story instead of using walls. The project is of extravaganza , answering the client's needs and requirement. As the client has great passion towards arts and design , Tomas Dariel has chosen to put some contemporary art pieces throughout the space. Overall speaking, Tomas Dariel has built the project with great openness, extravaganza and art sense , reflecting the lifestyle and personality of the client.
The project is of a huge technical difficulty as it combines 12 apartments into 1.Thomas Dariel wonderfully made use of the stainless steel at the boundaries between houses , perfectly combining houses together and no edges can be seen ,giving the sense of unification. The stainless steel used can reflect light thus saving energy and creating the sense of space. As the client has a great demand on equipments in the house , and so does the kitchen. Thomas Dariel then invited a professional cook for cooperation , having a full understanding of what a professional kitchen should have. Ultimately , the kitchen has reached the standard of a 5-star hotel which can fully satisfy the client in the sense of high-standard equipments.
