Paris South General Hospital
The CHSF regional hospital, ideally situated at the junction between three major highways, with its harmonious overall design,
blends perfectly into its surrounding countryside, providing 1000 hospital beds divided into four autonomously administered
clinics. The architectural choices, centered on a 6-tier strata design, naturally led to a modular layout structured around vast
inner courtyards providing ample room for open vistas and natural light. Soundproofed, linear and heat-efficient in its design
alongside the outer ring road south of Paris, the architecture is home-from-home to the north and mainly overlooks the foliage
of the urban parkland overlooked by the residential units, with the gardens around the site seemingly blotting out the
neighbouring streets.
