Dolce&Gabbana Headquarters
The new Dolce&Gabbana headquarters is located in Viale Piave, near the historic center of Milan.
The long and narrow shape of the lot and the volume of the existing building have led to a solution developed in three parallel buildings. The central one is suspended on a building, orthogonal with respect to the road, which connects the three constructions.
In this way a large and deep inner courtyard is created, onto which all the buildings overlook.
The facade along Viale Piave is marked by series of brise soleil in stainless steel, made in square units of 3.60x 3.60 mt, stacked in a staggered manner.
The façades overlooking the courtyard reproduce the geometry and size of this pattern, this time using GRC panels with glass doors and windows.
A simple and functional layout characterizes the offices interior, organized in open space.
