Studio Animal is an elastic platform based in Barcelona specialized in interior design and ephemeral architecture. It is directed by Javier Jimenez Iniesta, who graduated from the Alicante’s School of Architecture. Javier combines his professional activity with teaching and academic research. He currently teaches in the Master of Interior Design Spaces of BAU School and the Master of Interior Design at the European Institute of Design. Studio Animal’s work focuses on proposals which relate ultra contemporary thought to the habitat in which we live. The practice has developed a particular reputation for its assessment on the design of interior spaces, ranging from the small scale of industrial design to brand spatial planning. Studio Animal work has been shortlisted in Arquia Awards and recognized with several national and international awards, including FAD Awards (Finalist), LAUS Awards (Bronze) and International Media Retail Award in China (Winner). His work has been widely published in magazines such as Detail, OnDiseño, Diseño Interior or Pasajes de Arquitectura y Crítica.
