A school for the community of Cassola
Moves away from the concept of learning confined within the classroom
The project of the secondary school, as part of the educational complex in the community of Cassola (VI), moves away from the concept of learning confined within the classroom in favor of the centrality of common spaces. The architectural design envisages the tripartite division of volumes, where the central environment, constituted by the pass-through atrium running the entire length of the building, gathers all spaces dedicated to common activities. The agora, the library, the area for motor activities, and the portico are brought together around a double volume that interacts with all the classrooms, effectively extending them. Thanks to the large windows and visual continuity, it becomes possible to create a variety of educational settings and share teaching activities throughout the school community.
