COMPLESSO EX COLLEGIO COSTANZO CIANO, EX-BASE NATO, BAGNOLI

Historical narration & photographic reportage of the ex-College "Costanzo Ciano", built in Naples between 1937 and 1940 in the area of Campi Flegrei - area of great landscape values, characterized by hills and craters, a time not built - is part of an urban development context which involved the expansion to the west and the founding of a “modern city.” The College, built with modern techniques of construction, evoked by the Italian Rationalism with a lot of references to the local traditionalism, belongs to that current called by Henry Russell Hitchcock (1903-1987) “tradition” and that the Italian historiography has defined the Other Modernity.
