AtoY · Pop-up store for Japanese local food

AtoY had designed a pop-up store of Japanese local food & beverage at Beaugrenelle in Paris.
In order to keep the potential lightness as the existing space have, the pop-up store is simply composed of the wooden blocks with semi-transparent panel as the display to show the delicate products.
Curved display at the back creates gentle mountain-shape with the 68 blocks staking on top of each other. The counters in front of the long display include storage and transform to a bench and tables for a tasting party.
