New Police Headquarter’s reconstruction is the first step to redevelop this urban block in Villefranche City center.

A contextual vocabulary is used: rhythms, spans regularity, ground floor level open to public space, windows proportion, and street alignment. By using all these features, the building integration can be “quiet” and harmonious.
Thanks to contemporary interpretation of these particular features, the new building stands out. Coating brightness and shadows play generated by stainless steel frames, give some depth and animation to the façade throughout the day.
Gable roof shape comes from the context, while its interpretation without overhang provides a contemporary character.
