'Beautiful Brutalism' is an ongoing personal photography project capturing brutalist architecture from around the UK. Brutalism is a very divisive style of architecture and after only 40-50 years many great examples have already been demolished.

This project aims to document the well known brutalist buildings as well as the unknown buildings that still survive. Brutalism in it's nature is not afraid or ashamed of what it is, it's not apologetic and in a way it's 'anti-beauty'. The project shows these buildings can be seen as beautiful through the design, textures, colours and shapes of the concrete.
